Based in Charvil near Reading, I teach piano and singing. I enjoy teaching people of all ages and all abilities. Some pupils like to learn for fun and others prefer working towards exams and festivals.

I am happy to help with accompanying for exams and to develop theory and aural skills.

Adult pupils are always welcome whether they are starting from scratch or want to take up from where they left off!

My fees are £16 for a 30 minute lesson and £32 for a 60 minute lesson.

About Me!

I studied for a BA in Creative Arts at Bretton Hall College, West Yorkshire and returned there a year later to take a PGCE in Music / Children with Special Educational Needs.

I taught at Wildridings Primary School, Bracknell for three years and then at Brakenhale Comprehensive School for a year before becoming a self-employed teacher of piano and singing.

“Suzanne is a great teacher and I really enjoy playing the piano for fun. I have learnt a great range of pieces alongside my exam music.” – Amelia
“Suzanne is very friendly and easy to talk to. She is great at finding enjoyable pieces for me to play. I really like jazz music.” – Dominic
“I think lessons are really good because it’s not boring at all and we’re always laughing and having fun. I like the music theatre exams we do because you do need to practice but it’s not like serious, stand still and sing! It’s fun because we get to perform.” – Lauren
